Synagogue Attacker Found Unfit To Stand Trial

A Russian man who earlier this year stormed into a synagogue and attempted to attack worshippers was found mentally unfit to stand trial.

A court in Rostov-on-Don ruled on June 9 that Vadim Domnitsky should undergo psychiatric treatment. The man was facing hooliganism charges for his attempted attack last January.

Witnesses said the man was also shouting anti-Semitic threats before he was pushed to the ground by the synagogue security.
